Ziebart International recently confirmed plans to expand in seven new countries: The Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Kuwait, Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Greece, according to a press release.
"We continue to see heightened demand for vehicle protection services domestically and overseas,” president and CEO of Ziebart International Corporation, Thomas A. Wolfe, said. "As more consumers understand the value of investing in their current vehicles to keep them protected and looking like new, we foresee ongoing interest from master franchisees looking to bring Ziebart to their respective countries."
The first launch was initiated in The Netherlands in late August, following an official opening in late September. The company also recently inked the deal to establish a new location in Azerbaijan, and one in Kuwait, both scheduled to open sometime this month.
A fourth new location will make its way to Iraq in November, followed by The Ivory Coast in early December, as well as Nigeria and Greece in early 2023.
“Keeping vehicles looking new, extending their life and ensuring the highest resale value are three of the many reasons Ziebart products and services continue to be in high demand around the world,” a recent press release states.
The new center, owned and operated by new and existing multi-unit operators and franchise owners, will add onto the company's projected growth of $542 billion by 2026.
“With that growth in mind, Ziebart is expected to experience consistent growth in markets across the globe, breaking ground in even more countries in the near future,” the release continues.
Ziebart is credited with more than 60 years of automotive aftermarket franchising experience. With more than 400 existing locations and 1,200 service centers across 36 countries, the company hopes to continue expanding its global network.
"The concept of extending the life of your vehicle is something that will always cross cultural borders," Naji Younes, vice president of international business development, said. "Wanting to protect your car from the elements and looking and feeling new is universal."
