Aeromexico senior VP: 'We are excited to partner with Pricefx'

Pricefx has entered a partnership with Mexico’s global airline Aeromexico to help leverage its travel agency business analytics, a press release reported.

“Technology is increasingly important to agency management and other areas of our airline,” said Rastislav Martos, senior vice president of revenue management and distribution for Aeromexico. “We are excited to partner with Pricefx on the development of a new sales analytics product for the airline industry, driving value in our critical travel agency segment. By leveraging Pricefx’s expertise, we believe we can strengthen Aeromexico’s commercial strategy with better execution and improved speed-to-market.”

The airline offers numerous fare options intended to fulfill the scheduling needs of its customers, causing management complications.

Using Pricefx’s AI technology, the airline hopes to improve the company’s agency performance and commission payment insights as it pursues a front and back-end agency commission design.

Once the collaboration kicks off, the airline hopes to continue using Pricefx to improve other aspects of its commercial performance. Its solutions will also offer a single source of price cargo, loyalty points, ancillaries and corporate programs.
