TTEC Holdings, Inc. is celebrating its first delivery center in Colombia to prioritize its local telecommunication clients, according to a press release.
"We are thrilled to continue to expand our geographic footprint as we meet the needs of our clients. In establishing new capabilities in Colombia, TTEC's ability to deliver near and offshore outsourcing solutions will drive greater value for our clients," Shelly Swanback, CEO of TTEC Engage, said. "We know end-to-end digitally enabled CX solutions unifying technology, talent and services are key to making great customer experiences."
TTEC will kick-off its operations in the area by serving a leading U.S. telecommunications firm in Bogota, which will result in the creation of hundreds of jobs.
The center is the first out of several delivery locations the company plans to establish in Colombia to fulfill the growing demand for nearshore options to help mitigate wage inflation.
"In an increasingly tight labor market, it's critical to help brands increase efficiencies and savings while still providing exemplary customer service," Swanback said. "TTEC's proven solutions and growing geographic footprint will enable our clients to attract and retain a growing, loyal customer base."
Specializing in global customer experience (CX) technology and services innovators for end-to-end digital CX solutions, the company hopes to grow its Colombian workforce over the course of the next few years.
The country’s potential attracted TTEC and ultimately motivated it to solidify its presence in the country.
“Colombia is an attractive nearshore destination with a large, educated and multi-lingual pool of talent,” a recent press release states. “The country has a proven track record of outsourcing excellence and sits in a western hemisphere time zone conducive to North American clients.”
