Keller Williams has awarded a new master franchise in Bolivia in an effort to further expand and strengthen its presence across South America, a press release reported.
“Continuing our robust global growth, we are excited to announce KW Bolivia, our 10th master franchise in South America,” said William E. Soteroff, president of Keller Williams Worldwide (KWW), the international division of KW. “Across the world, we are where real estate entrepreneurs thrive.”
The new venture in Bolivia will be overseen by Regional Operating Principal Carlos Andres Cordova. With initial operations currently in the works, the establishment is projected to open its first market center during the third quarter of 2022.
“The Bolivian market is very competitive,” Cordova said. “We believe that KW Bolivia’s main advantage will be the model of interdependence with agents, which will keep competition at bay.”
The company’s reported momentum outside of the U.S. and Canada during the second financial quarter of 2022 suggested that agent count was 16,304. Agents closed over 19,000 transactions, $4.0 billion in sales volume, secured over 29,000 new listings, wrote over 23,000 contracts and increased its written contract volume by 22.4% from since last year at $3.4 billion.
“With the addition of Bolivia, we can now claim a strong and growing presence in the top five largest countries in South America,” Soteroff said. “And our collective footprint on the continent comprises more than 1,000 agents across 17 offices.”
Other regions explored by the franchise include Albania; Argentina; Aruba; Belgium; Belize; Bermuda; Bolivia; Bonaire; Cambodia; Chile; Colombia; Costa Rica; Cyprus; Czech Republic; Dominican Republic; Dubai, UAE; France; Greece; Guyana; Honduras; Indonesia; Ireland; Israel; Italy; Jamaica; Japan; Luxembourg; Malaysia; Mexico; Monaco; Mongolia; Nicaragua; Northern Cyprus; Panama; Paraguay; Peru; Philippines; Poland; Portugal; Puerto Rico; Romania; São Paulo, Brazil; Saudi Arabia; Serbia; Sint Maarten; Slovenia; Southern Africa; Spain; Suriname; Thailand; Turkey; Turks and Caicos; United Kingdom; Uruguay and Vietnam.
Considered the largest global real estate franchise by agent count, KWW hopes to further expand across Africa, Central and South America, Central and Eastern Europe, and throughout Asia.
“We are constantly looking for the right business leaders to share our culture around the world,” Soteroff said. “And, Carlos represents the high standard we have set.”
