Andersen Global confirmed the addition of Awael, based in Bahrain, to its Member Firm of the association, according to a press release.

“Abbas and his team have strong, synergistic working relationships with the other member firms in the region,” Andersen Global Chairman and Andersen CEO Mark Vorsatz said. “The firm has provided valuable insights into Bahrain’s evolving market and will allow us to maintain a competitive edge in the region.”

A collaborating firm since 2019, Awael joins the association in hopes to leverage the global organization’s footprint in the Middle East and better fulfill local demands, a recent press release stated.

Andersen in Bahrain was initially founded in 2014 to target demands for tax and advisory services for clients of all scales, including public entities and owner-managed businesses, including compliance, litigation, risk management, due diligence, corporate governance and business process optimization. The venture is led by Office Managing Director Abbas Radhi.

“Our firm has grown tremendously over the past few years and the adoption of the Andersen brand is the next step in our firm’s development,” Abbas said. “Becoming a member firm of Andersen Global positions us to better serve our clients with borderless, best-in-class service. We look forward to working alongside the other member firms in the region as we strive to be a leading firm in the country and region.”

Established in 2013, Andersen Global has evolved into a global association of more than 11,000 experts representing legally separate, independent member tax and legal firms across 360 locations.
