Andersen Global has welcomed Picón & Asociados, based in Peru, to join its global organization of tax and legal professionals, according to a press release.
“The addition of Picón & Asociados as a member firm allows us to maintain our foothold in Latin America and is part of our larger expansion strategy,” Andersen Global Chairman and Andersen CEO Mark Vorsatz said.
The addition, intended to strengthen Andersen’s presence in the Latin American global, integrated service market, follows a recent partnership in Mexico, a related press release states.
Based in Lima, Picón & Asociados, led by managing partner Oscar Picón, has served as a collaborating firm of Andersen’s since 2018. The firm handles clients in need of tax, customs and planning services, offering tax advice, tax compliance and transfer pricing to both local and international clients.
“During the past few years, we built strong working relationships with the member and collaborating firms of Andersen Global to meet our clients’ needs regionally and globally,” Oscar said. “Becoming a member firm of Andersen Global is a testament to our ongoing commitment to providing best-in-class solutions in a seamless manner.”
The company will now form part of the international association Andersen has built since its launch in 2013, consisting of 10,000 experts across 337 locations.
