Faria on new president: 'Marco’s diverse background and broad leadership experience make him an excellent fit to lead'

Eaton recently named Marco Martini as president of Vehicle Group across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

“Marco’s diverse background and broad leadership experience make him an excellent fit to lead the Vehicle Group in EMEA,” said João Faria, president, Eaton’s Vehicle Group, in a press release. “We believe Marco’s strong financial and operational proficiency will help our business thrive in the region.”

Based in Torino, Italy, Martini will oversee all business growth opportunities in the region upon taking on his new role.

The executive began his tenure with the company as a manufacturing controller and was later promoted to director of finance at Vehicle Group. He then began fulfilling the duties of director of operations for the company in the EMEA region. 

Before joining Eaton, he contributed to the appliance industry for 15 years, filling various financial roles based in Italy, the United Kingdom, Mexico and Russia. He obtained a degree in business and administration at Ancona Italy’s Marche Polytechnics University. 

Reporting a revenue of $19.6 billion in 2021 and a presence in more than 170 territories, the power management company, founded in 1911, has been listed on the NYSE for nearly 100 years. It profits from global electrification and digitalization trends to accelerate the use of renewable energy.
