Keller Williams continues to expand in Asia with the grand opening of a new master franchise in Saudi Arabia.
“We are excited to announce our expansion into Saudi Arabia under the leadership and vision of Muhanad Awad, who will serve as the regional operating principal,” President of Keller Williams Worldwide (KWW), William E. Soteroff, said in an April 11 press release.
The office brings the firm’s Asian-based master franchises sum to 11, housing more than 1,400 agents, the release stated.
“With the Saudi Arabia 2030 vision, I believe implementing Keller Williams’ systems and technology will be the perfect match,” said Awad. “Keller Williams has a unique and attractive business model to keep all employees and agents happy and attached to high standards.”
The addition, led by Awad, the founder and chairman of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-based Jasmine Real Estate Development and Management, a real estate services firm, recently began operating and is preparing to open its first market center during the second financial quarter of 2022, the release stated.
“A 30-year real estate veteran, Awad and his core team are well positioned to explore untapped business opportunities in Saudi Arabia, while leveraging our world-class training, technology, and culture to fuel a truly powerful real estate experience,” Soteroff said.
The real estate technology franchise, the largest of its kind by agent count, now reports more than 290 market centers, 15,313 agents outside North America, and a 21.9% increase since the End of February 2021, according to the release.
The firm has established a presence across five continents., and is currently considering expansion opportunities in Africa, Central and South America, Central and Eastern Europe, and other parts of Asia, the release stated.
