Jurny, Inc. has partnered with a boutique luxury real estate development firm, The Yanko Group, to help establish its new soft brand collection.
"Our new brand is designed for the modern traveler seeking a holistic travel experience combining the best of wellness, design and technology," said Michael Yanko, CEO of The Yanko Group, in a press release. "Jurny's proven track record for driving results for partners is a testament to their deep understanding of the industry and the needs of the modern traveler, making them the ideal long-term solution for our brand."
Under the agreement, Jurny will provide tech and software services as the luxury wellness lodging brand opens 600 new units across the U.S., Mexico, Panama and Iceland, according to a press release. The hospitality tech company will also supply proprietary technology and software to Yanko’s 120 new units in Panama, 81 in Iceland and two apartment hotels in Tulum, Mexico.
The global expansion, set to begin this month, brings The Yanko Group’s growth projections for the following first financial quarter to over 300% YOY compared to 2021, making it the strongest one to date, a press release explains.
"Last year was a breakthrough year for our company with the introduction of our proprietary technology and software solutions," said Luca Zambello, founder and CEO of Jurny. "We kicked off 2022 with our strongest quarter to date and with high profile partnerships like this one in new markets, which confirms our team's dedication to developing high-quality offerings that have been tested during a challenging business climate."
The company offers its services through a dashboard, smart hardware and a mobile app capable of automating features inside the units. A support staff and an accounting team is also available to help guide clients.
In addition to its global collaboration with The Yanko Group, the Los Angeles-based tech company specializing in the coordination of operations and guest experience for leading independent hotel brands, vacation and short-term rentals has also expanded its staff by nearly 20%, filling sales, engineering and operation roles. One of the additions is hospitality industry expert, Kevin Rohani, who recently joined the company’s board of advisors.
