Rivulis has taken a step toward global expansion efforts with the opening of its new location in Tijuana, Mexico.

"This multi-million dollar investment highlights our long-term commitment to the North American market. Rivulis is poised to continue to grow and to become the premier drip irrigation solutions provider in North America and beyond. We are committed to our corporate mission of Making Micro Irrigation Accessible to growers and to helping them Grow Beyond," said Fabien Kelbert, president of Rivulis North America, in a press release.

Appealing to the micro irrigation specializer’s global footprint strategy, the new state-of-the-art factory will be located a few miles south of the company's headquarters in San Diego, California, where the company’s Management, Quality, Global Engineering and R&D are based, according to a release.

The new facility was developed with the intention of leveraging the company’s ability to meet the demands of the North American agricultural market and reach appropriate capacities to offer services in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

It will adhere to the same standards and manufacturing processes as its first establishment.

"We believe by bolstering our capacity and by adding state-of-the art innovative technologies in manufacturing, we will be better positioned to serve our customers, increasing our availability and making our product more accessible to all growers in North America and beyond," Kelbert said in a release.
