Imperial Dade has secured a definitive agreement to acquire Veritiv Canada Inc., the company said in a recent release.
The deal with the Canada-based packaging, print and facility solutions firm serves as the 47th acquisition transaction for Jersey City-based Imperial Dade under the management of Robert and Jason Tillis, CEO and president respectively.
"We are extremely excited to be entering the Canadian marketplace with such a reputable organization,” Imperial Dade President Jason Tillis said. “We look forward to partnering with the Veritiv Canada team and continuing to provide customers with a world-class value proposition and service offering under the Imperial Dade banner.”
Based in Toronto, ON, Veritiv Canada Inc. has established 11 other locations across Canada and is a full-service provider of janitorial and hygiene products, print and food-service-packaging solutions. Through its collaboration with Veritiv Canada, Imperial Dade plans to extend its customized service to an even greater offering of products and solutions, the release said.
With more than eight decades in business, Imperial Dade has gained over 75,000 customers across North America as a source for cleaning supplies and equipment, as well as packaging solutions. Since Robert and Jason Tillis took on their leadership roles in 2007, the company has flourished on an international level, according to the release.
“This acquisition is an exciting next step in our ability to serve customers across all of North America," Jason Tillis said.
