To expand its international operations as it sets the bar for the next decade of mobile development, Britise is kicking off a hiring effort to bring in 200 new employees worldwide in 200 days, starting with the expansion of its C-Suite.
According to a company news release, Bitrise also announced the appointment of Filip Szymanski, former vice president of SaaS at Hewlett Packard, as chief product officer to grow the company’s product portfolio and scale its mobile platform.
The company’s platform is used by more than 6,000 businesses, the release stated.
“Filip’s experience developing forward-looking product strategies, along with our direct work with some of the world’s most influential mobile organizations will put us in a position to simplify today’s complexities and empower organizations to create applications that compete effectively with the super apps that are starting to dominate the app stores,” Barnabas Birmacher, Bitrise CEO, said in the release.
The company’s new hires will fill vacancies in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, according to the release.
“This current rate of acceleration we’re witnessing in mobile has been eight years in the making,” Birmacher said. “Our role in mobile is not just to keep up with this pace, but to work 10 years ahead of it and build for the future we see.”
