NovaBay Pharmaceuticals Inc. has partnered with a Chinese marketing firm to develop marketing and branding services for DERMAdoctor skincare products in China.
NovaBay CEO Justin Hall said the growth of e-commerce has left many of the world’s leading brands entrusting the company’s new marketing partner to bring their products to the vast Chinese market, expressing a positive outlook as the partnership aims to drive sales of NovaBay’s DERMAdoctor product line, a recent release stated.
“Over the years NovaBay has developed strong relationships in China and we know that success there is predicated on a strong, local business partner with word-of-mouth as one of the best ways to attract new customers,” Hall said in the release. “Our new marketing partner brings us a greatly expanded network of bloggers and influencers together with strong social media capabilities, making it an optimal choice for creating positive brand awareness and promoting sales of DERMAdoctor products.”
The new marketing partner will also manage the brand’s flagship store on Tmall.com. In 2020, this website accounted for 60% of business-to-customer (B2C) online retail transactions in China, the release stated.
Management changes went into effect this week, the release stated.
