FOX News International, FOX News Media’s global streaming service, recently announced plans to expand to Africa.

Beginning Feb. 17, the service was made available in Egypt, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Zambia, according to a Fox News Media press release.

“The expansion marks the first time FOX News Media content will be available on the service throughout the continent of Africa,” the release stated.

The expansion brings the service’s global reach to 44 countries and follows significant growth across all engagement metrics at the end of 2021, according to the release.

FOX News International allows individuals using the platform to stream FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network Live, the release stated. There are also 20 on-demand shows viewers can watch.

At a cost of $6.99 per month, the platform can now be streamed in Africa on multiple devices, according to the release.

"FOX News Media operates the FOX News Channel (FNC), FOX Business Network (FBN), FOX News Digital, FOX News Audio, FOX News Books, the direct-to-consumer streaming services FOX Nation and FOX News International, as well as the free ad-supported television service FOX Weather," the release stated. "Currently the no. 1 network in all of cable, FNC has also been the most-watched television news channel for 20 consecutive years, while FBN ranks among the top business channels on cable. FOX News Media reaches 200 million people each month."
