A leading global software provider of accountancy, IRIS Software Group, has announced on Dec. 30 that they have acquired AccountantsWorld, a New York-based company providing cloud solutions for accountants.

The move serves as a step to increase the presence of the London-based company in North America.
The company, in business for nearly 20 years, offers cloud-based solutions for thousands of CPA firms.
IRIS plans to continue expanding its list of partnerships with North American companies.
