Advatix, Inc. recently expanded its eCommerce supply chain and logistics solutions footprint into Latin America with the acquisition of Up-Time, an operations consulting and engineering solutions firm based in Santiago, Chile.
In addition to projecting its own services into the Latin America market through a local presence in Santiago, Advatix plans to make use of Up-Time's proprietary engineering technology and experienced team in supporting customers across the globe, according to an Advatix press release.
"I have worked in the Latin American market over the last several years and have always been impressed by the talent pool and work environment in Chile," Manish Kapoor, founder and CEO of Advatix, said in the release. "Having a local team will help us serve LATAM customers better. By joining forces with Up-Time, we are excited to bring the best-in-class eCommerce solutions to growing companies across LATAM."
Advatix plans to offer customers in Latin America services that include operations consulting, a centralized global command center, technology platforms for fulfillment, and inventory management logistics, the release states.
Based out of Westlake Village, Calif., Advatix already has a technology hub in New Delhi, India, as well. The new Santiago office is expected to collaborate with the New Dehli operation and serve as a global engineering and innovation hub for the incubation of several new technology solutions.
