An Indiana-based company touted as a global leader in functional safety consulting and implementation recently began a program to help military personnel reintegrate back into civilian life.
LER TechForce, an engineering resources organization, has unveiled its new military plan dedicated to aiding soldiers in readjusting to society.
Patrick Drabick, director of military programs for the company, said the program was designed to help veterans find careers that would benefit them as they return to civilian life.
"We are here to serve those who served their country,” he said. “As a veteran myself, I know the sacrifices they have made and I know the skills they bring. Our program is purposely built to ensure veterans find great careers and are valued."
The program’s objective is attracting, retaining and assisting military veterans in their period of readjustment.
LER's program also aids veterans in settling in their post-military careers.
Meanwhile, the company recently opened a new office in Santiago de Queretaro, Mexico.
"After more than a decade of successful recruitment in Mexico, LER's newly-launched office, located in Querétaro, is a natural evolution of delivering best-in-class resident engineering services to our North American customer base,” said Janene Stotts, CEO of LER TechForce. “Specifically, we are excited to offer a competitively-priced alternative to offshoring without time zone burdens. And, as our footprint in Mexico increases, we remain committed to seeking what has been a wonderful combination of technical capability and work culture. Can't wait to get going!"
