BEA News: U.S. International Transactions, 2nd Quarter 2021
The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) has issued the following news release today:
The U.S. current account deficit widened by $0.9 billion, or 0.5 percent, to $190.3 billion in the second quarter of 2021, according to statistics from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis. The revised first quarter deficit was $189.4 billion. The first quarter deficit was 3.3 percent of current dollar gross domestic product, down from 3.4 percent in the first quarter.
