Wyndham launches 'luxury' hotel brand in Europe

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts announced Sept. 2 the launch of, Registry Collection Hotels, their newest brand of hotels, in Tbilisi, the capital of the country Georgia, in a press release.

The new 100 room ART Tbilisi Hotel is set to open in 2023 in Abantoubani, a picturesque district of Tbilisi.

"Our newest brand is the perfect option for independent luxury hotel owners who want to maintain their independent spirit while tapping into the global scale, capability and loyalty of Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, which is even more relevant as the industry recovers from the challenges of the global pandemic," Dimitris Manikis, President for Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa (EMEA) at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, said in a press release. 

"We are incredibly proud to introduce our Registry Collection Hotels brand and this spectacular property to Georgia, a stunning destination that has become hugely popular thanks to its charming architecture, rich culture, delectable cuisine, and many historic sites," he added.

The Registry Collection Hotels brand represents a luxury offering on the upper end of the company's portfolio.

The Grand Residences Riviera Cancun, which opened in June, was the first hotel to open under the Registry Collection Hotels brand.

Wyndham has more than 9,000 hotels in 95 countries around the world.
